About Me

Welcome to my blog! I'm Giuliana Gaffney, a 20-something brand spankin' new wife AND mamma!

My husband and I are blessed were blessed with a sweet baby girl: Evelyn Josephine. Born April 24th, 2013.

We are also the proud "parents" of two darling dogs: Copernicus (a papillon) and Audrey Hepbull (an English Bulldog). These two are nuts, but we love them so much. They will always be our FIRST babies!

I married my best friend, Matt, on June 12th, 2013 in Estes Park, Colorado. We live in St. Louis, Missouri but it's the wild west and the Colorado Rockies that hold my heart. (And yes, for those who did the math, we were married just 7 weeks after our daughter was born. Life's pretty insane! More on that later!

In Beautiful Estes Park, Colorado

I'm the general manager of a locally owned and operated dog walking and pet sitting business. Animals (dogs specifically) are my true passion. I've worked in a variety of animal-related fields (veterinary medicine, natural animal nutrition & now the pet care industry). It is this job, however, that I love the most, because it allows me the amazing opportunity to work from home while also providing me with time with my daughter, Evelyn.

My husband Matt works as a trucker, covering 12 hour overnight shifts. Thankfully, he is home every morning and doesn't have to go "over the road". He's into all things 80's, history, pop culture and can remember dates and random facts better then anyone I know! People always say that we don't have all that much in common, but that is what makes me love him so much! It is very exciting (and sometimes challenging!) to be married to someone who is so very different from you in terms of interests and personality, but we make it work and our lives are SO enriched by each other's differences. At least *I* think so!

Life is crazy, but I hope to document our incredibly busy (yet blessed!) life here on this blog. Welcome to our journey! Hang on tight! It's going to be a wild ride!
